Fees information  

Glasgow City Council funds our group to provide places for children aged 3 to 5 years.  This is called a Partnership Agreement.  Partnership funds are provided by the Scottish Executive to local authorities, who then pay nurseries to provide places for your children from their 3rd birthday.  The Partnership Agreement pays for your child to attend the Nursery for 600 hours which is split into 5 sessions for 38 weeks of the year. Your child receives 11 weeks of pre school education which is not paid for by the Partnership Agreement.  The cost of this extra provision needs to be made up from parent’s fees and fundraising.  It is important to note that the weekly fee does not fully cover the cost of this extra provision and this is why we are constantly looking for ways to raise funds for the sustainability of the Nursery.   The weekly fee must be paid in advance in order for your child to attend the coming week’s sessions.

Fees are calculated and based on the 49 week provision incorporating all Bank/Public Holidays as detailed below:

  • Christmas
  • Good Friday & Easter Monday
  • May Day
  • May Weekend
  • Fair Monday
