January brings the snow, makes our feet and fingers glow.

 

February brings the rain, melts the frozen pond again.

 

March brings winds to blow your kite, and rattle windows in the night.

 

April has both sun and showers, to wet your feet and grow the flowers.

 

May is the month of new green leaves, when birds are nesting under eaves.

 

June contains the longest day, with hours of sun for all your play.

 

Although July is very warm, it sometimes brings a thunderstorm.

 

August is full of hot dry days, sea and sand and holidays.

 

September brings a cooler breeze, and fruit and nuts upon the trees.

 

October turns the leaves to brown, and chilly winds to blow them down.

 

“Dull November, dark and nippy, making roads and pavements slippy.”

 

Cold December brings the sleet, and presents for your Christmas treat
